Committee Descriptions
Education:
Secure speakers regarding monthly educational programs, conference and seminars.
Golf:
Locate and coordinate monthly meeting sites to promote camaraderie among the membership.
Legislative/Regulatory:
Monitors, gathers information and recommend policy action on state, regional and federal legislative action that impacts golf course management and the association.
Membership:
To solicit, obtain and communicate with the members.
Public Relations:
Create ideas and or programs that are designed to enhance the image to the golfing and non-golfing public. Promote the association and industry through Twitter, Instagram, and other social media outlets.
Communication:
Gather, solicit, write and edit articles in the production of the Reporter, Directory and website. Solicit for advertising.
Scholarship:
Promote, distribute and collect scholarship applications.
Special Events:
Coordinate social events that are deemed a benefit to the membership.
Rounds 4 Research:
Assist with Rounds 4 Research by securing donated rounds or donations from golf properties.
Assistant Superintendent:
Promote assistants by hosting golf, education and social activities.
Equipment Manager:
Promote equipment managers by hosting golf, education and social activities.
