    Our History

    The Rocky Mountain Golf Course Superintendents Association (RMGCSA) founded in 1936 is dedicated to serving its members and improving golf course management practices through education, sharing knowledge and networking. RMGCSA is the tenth largest affiliated chapter of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. We have more than 570 members in 20 states who offer support and services to the golf course management industry.

    What We Offer

    • In-Person Meetings and Webinars
      • There are numerous educational meetings throughout the year that are designed to further your knowledge of course management, operations, and emerging industry trends. We also host the RMGCSA Annual Conference, where members can hear from renowned speakers and network with peers, vendors, affiliates, and more.
    • Golf Events
      • With the availability and help of hosting golf courses, there are multiple golf outings throughout the year. These events include tournaments in various formats.
    • The Reporter
      • Our Association newsletter, The Reporter, contains articles, features, and current news to keep you up-to-date and involved with your local association.
    • Representation at the Capitol
      • With the guidance of our Lobbyist and the support of the Colorado Coalition, we are able to represent our association on legislative matters that may affect the industry.
